Moon River Brewing Company was a brewpub at 21 West Bay Street in Savannah, Georgia, occupying the ground floor and basement of a 4-story building constructed in 1821 as The City Hotel 1. CraftBeer.com listed it among haunted breweries in the United States and quoted the brewery's own description of the building as "one of the oldest, most historic, and genuinely haunted buildings in Savannah" 2. The brewpub closed in June 2024 after 25 years, and the owner submitted plans that December for a new restaurant tenant downstairs and apartments on the upper floors 1. Visitors commonly describe bottles and glassware moving or breaking in the basement, being touched or pushed on the stairs, and figures seen on the long-vacant upper floors.
